The PSR welcomes and registers patients, scheduling visits and acting as a liaison between patients and medical staff to create a positive first impression across phone, in person, or via MyPrevea.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience in an insurance and/or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between patients, family, medical staff via phone, in person, or through MyPrevea.
• Obtain and confirm accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Route medical inquiries, complaints, and messages to appropriate parties.
• Assist patients and callers with financial inquiries, including policies, insurance, payments, and other financial needs.
• Collect required payments, including co-payments and balances.
• Complete necessary account, referral, and claim edit workflows in assigned work queues.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Provide accurate daily batch and/or deposits to appropriate staff for processing.
