Job summary

Select Medical in Pasadena is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule visits, and manage front desk operations at our clinic. You will support both patient care and business processes in a welcoming manner.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of medical office experience preferred, and English/Spanish bilingual skills. Full-time schedule; compensation ranges from $24 to $30 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain visit flow.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers and translation providers as needed with market leaders and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays and handle insurance authorizations and verifications.
