Select Medical operates a full-time Patient Service Specialist role at our Mechanicsburg center. The position supports both patient-facing and business-side tasks, beginning at the front desk to ensure a smooth visit flow and accurate appointment management.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with preference for front desk and healthcare experience. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with full-time hours Monday through Friday and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; provide visit information and next appointment details.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translators, and leadership teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
