Job summary

Select Medical Glendale is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, register them, and guide them through their visit at the front desk. You will balance patient interactions with the business side, ensuring accurate check-in, appointment info, and smooth throughput.

This full-time role offers hourly pay based on experience, benefits including PTO, medical/dental, a 401(k) plan, and life and disability coverage, with a schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, providing visit expectations and next-appointment information.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance, and translation companies; coordinate with leaders and business development.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
