Select Medical in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk and administrative responsibilities at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet and register patients, explain visit flow, and coordinate next appointments, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of front desk experience.
• 1 year of medical office experience.
• 1 year of scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
