Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED with two years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service; or an Associate’s degree with one year experience; or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer services and conflict resolution.

Aufgaben

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcome and professional environment, interact with patients and ensure stellar patient experiences.
• Capture and verify referrals and cancellation reasons, insurance coverage and physician data.
• Responsible for providing patient estimates for services.
• Identify patients needing financial counseling and align insurance coverage to services.
• Perform patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and related tasks.
• Advise patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass; educate and train on front-end technology.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information; conduct follow-ups to MyChart.
• Maintain measured performance in quality, patient experience, first call resolution, customer satisfaction, teamwork and medical terminology.
• Generate staff provider schedules and relay staff messaging.
