You will handle phone triage, registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection and scheduling while guiding families through MyChart and Appointment Pass.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience OR higher degrees.
• Experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage, insurance verification and co-pay collection.
• Capture referrals, verify coverage, and align scheduling with services.
• Explain and collect patient estimates and assist with financial counseling when needed.
• Encourage use of MyChart and Appointment Pass and conduct follow-ups as required.
• Maintain accurate patient information and support scheduling across departments.
