Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Ohio seeks a Patient Service Specialist to deliver a patient-first experience from arrival to departure. You will handle phone triage, registration, insurance eligibility and co-pay collection, and help with scheduling and interpreter services.

You will work full-time, float between Children’s Institute locations including Westlake, Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga Falls, Beachwood and Medina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher is required with experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive patient experience from arrival to departure.
• Triage, register patients, verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Schedule services and coordinate interpreter needs as required.
