Job summary

Mercy Hospital, Dexter, MO is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative (PSR) to welcome patients and visitors and oversee front desk operations. This PRN role supports the Mercy Hospital Southeast clinic setting in Dexter, with days, evenings, and weekend shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, data-entry ability, and commitment to patient privacy while delivering excellent customer service. Training provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure.
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure, handling unexpected situations professionally.
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.
