Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role focuses on creating a positive, seamless patient experience by coordinating front desk operations and workflows.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred medical office experience. Strong communication, data entry, and customer service skills are essential to succeed in this role and support Mercy’s patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with patients and visitors.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in entering patient information, scheduling appointments and processing documentation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.
