Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Maintain confidential patient and business documents.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility; explain payment policies and billing details.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility with clarity.
• Support practice manager, providers and staff for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Perform general administrative tasks and operate office medical equipment.
• Oversee quality assurance and CLIA-waived lab requirements; track patient results.
