Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to enhance the patient experience by professionally processing arrival and departure activities at the outpatient practice front desk.

The role verifies insurance, referrals, and patient demographics to support efficient flow to examination rooms. Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling via EPIC, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Formación

• Must communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.
• Must adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Processes check in and/or check out, and scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient/provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
