Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the EHR.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
