Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to support patient interactions across our Illinois locations, traveling between Glenview and Lake Forest. You will handle phones, check-in/out, and assist billing and front-desk operations.

The role emphasizes patient care, accurate information collection, and collaboration with physicians and staff in a fast-paced dermatology clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following procedures.

Summary

Medical Receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients’ medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
