Forefront Dermatology in the Naperville area is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Crest Hill, Naperville and New Lenox clinics. You will handle patient check-in, verify insurance, manage a multi-line phone system and support front desk operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
