Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first contact for patients in the network. You will handle scheduling, registrations, and payments with a focus on exceptional service and accurate data capture.

This role supports ambulatory care teams and helps ensure timely revenue collection and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include scheduling outpatient visits, processing referrals, greeting patients, collecting demographic/insurance data, and assisting

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer, customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations.
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse people inside and outside organization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient appointments following clinic scheduling guidelines.
• Register patients and collect demographic and financial information accurately.
• Handle payments and cash receipts accurately.
• Greet patients in a courteous, friendly manner at the front desk.
• Maintain health information management processes and coordinate with providers.
