Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred.
• Healthcare, medical, or dental office administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, working with Center manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
• Register patient information, ensuring all forms are complete with signatures and accurate information documented in the electronic medical record.
• Verify patient insurance, obtaining required authorizations before patient visit and explain benefits, financial responsibilities, billing, and outpatient policies.
• Collect patient payments at each visit.
• Scan and maintain medical documents.
• Reconcile and post charges daily and other reporting to ensure clean claim processing.
• Respond to requests for information from patients and other departments.
• Maintain office and supplies; manage mail.
• Willingness to adjust schedule to center needs and travel for coverage when necessary.
