Job summary

McCall Dental Care in McCall, Idaho is seeking a Patient Care & Scheduling Coordinator to manage the patient journey from the first phone call through checkout and ongoing care.

You will serve as the bridge between patients, the front desk, scheduling, and the clinical team, ensuring a warm welcome, accurate records, and smooth transitions.

Key duties include answering calls, greeting patients, checking in/out, handling HIPAA paperwork, maintaining recalls, and coordinating treatment follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Dental or healthcare experience is preferred, but we are interested in finding the right person who has the communication, organization, and patient-service skills to succeed in this role.
• Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Comfortable communicating with patients by phone and in person.
• Proactive about following up and completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and respond to patient appointment requests.
• Greet patients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Check patients in and assist with checkout.
• Present and review new-patient paperwork and HIPAA information.
• Review and update patient medical history.
• Coordinate a smooth transition between the front office and clinical team.
• Maintain recall and confirmation systems.
• Collect payments at checkout as needed.
• Coordinate future appointments and treatment follow-ups.
