Job summary

Community Care Physicians' Albany Family Medicine office is seeking a full-time Patient Support Specialist to join their team. This is a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with compensation of $18.00-$24.00 per hour and eligibility for a $1,000 recruitment and retention bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education desirable.
• Clerical experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients on arrival.
• Process phone calls/messages per policy.
• Schedule appointments per office protocols.
• Arrange follow-up appointments as directed by providers.
• Obtain patient signatures for insurance waivers.
