Harbor Health is seeking skilled Patient Reception Specialists to join our Austin, TX-based clinics. As the face of our practices, you will welcome patients, collect insurance information, and navigate EMR systems to ensure accurate demographics and smooth check-in processes.

You will collaborate with care teams to communicate services, handle scheduling, and address delays with professionalism, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance practices.
• Proficient in Google Suite and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Prepare patients for appointments and inform them of required information.
• Communicate services to patients clearly.
• Notify patients about schedule delays and assist with comfort.
• Maintain clean and organized reception and waiting areas.
• Obtain and file insurance documents in the EMR and validate demographics.
