OnePeak Medical is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service in person and over the phone. You will manage scheduling, patient registration, and verification of insurance details within a fast-paced clinic environment.

Role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and multitasking skills. Travel to other clinics may be required, and a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of customer service experience is required.
• Six months of front desk reception or scheduling experience in a medical office is strongly preferred.
• Prior PM/EHR experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance payors including Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance is strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, positive welcome to patients and visitors.
• Ensure accurate PCP listing in patient charts.
• Adhere to OnePeak Medical policies and protect confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Manage a multi-line telephone system and schedule patient appointments.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information and portal access.
• Scrutinize schedules for appointment accuracy and visit preparedness.
• Verify patient information during scheduling and communicate required documentation changes.
• Confirm payment methods at appointments and collect copays or balances as needed.
• Maintain reception area, waiting rooms, and office files.
• Address patient complaints with problem-solving and escalate when necessary.
• Attend department and clinical meetings as scheduled.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities to support OnePeak Medical.
