OnePeak Medical is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering warm, professional service in person or over the phone. You will manage a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and maintain accurate PCP assignments in charts.

In addition, you will collect copays and other payments, document in the EPM, and keep the reception area organized while upholding HIPAA and

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of customer service experience required.
• Experience in medical front desk or scheduling preferred.
• PM/EHR experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; tech-savvy.

Mansioni

• Provide outstanding customer service and a warm welcome to patients and visitors, in person or by phone.
• Route calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information, as well as the patient portal.
• Ensure PCP accuracy in the chart and maintain schedules for accuracy.
• Maintain reception area and office files; handle payments and copays.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and proper handling of restricted areas and passwords.
• Attend department and clinical meetings and support leadership as needed.
