OnePeak Medical is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.

You will update charts, schedules, and demographics, verify insurance, collect copays, and keep the front desk organized while maintaining confidentiality and professional demeanor in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 6 months of customer service experience (required).
• 6 months of front desk reception or scheduling experience in a medical office (strongly preferred).
• Prior PM/EHR experience (strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (strongly preferred).
• Computer/Tech Savvy (strongly preferred).
• Knowledge/experience with medical billing and insurance payors (strongly preferred).

Mansioni

• Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, professional welcome in person and by phone.
• Ensure PCP is properly listed in the patient chart.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and OnePeak policies.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, route calls, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information and patient portal.
• Review schedules for appointment accuracy and preparedness.
• Verify patient information during scheduling and communicate required document changes.
• Confirm payment method and process copays or balances; document in the EPM.
• Maintain reception area and office files; support colleagues.
• Resolve patient issues with professionalism and escalate as needed.
• Attend department and clinical meetings; complete end-of-day tasks.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities to support OnePeak Medical.
