Job summary

OnePeak Medical in Klamath Falls is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to welcome patients, schedule visits, and manage patient records with HIPAA-compliant care. You will be the first contact, ensuring accuracy and a positive experience.

Responsibilities include handling a multi-line phone system, verifying PCP details, collecting payments, and coordinating with clinical staff. A strong customer service mindset and basic EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of customer service experience required.
• 6 months of front desk reception or scheduling experience in a medical office strongly preferred.
• Prior PM/EHR experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.
• Computer/Tech Savvy strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with medical billing and insurance payors strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, positive welcome in person and by phone.
• Ensure accurate PCP listing in patient charts.
• Adhere to OnePeak Medical policies and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
• Manage multi-line phone system, route calls, inquiries, and scheduling.
• Register patients and update demographic, insurance, and patient portal data.
• Verify appointment details and patient documentation as needed.
• Confirm payment methods and process copays, balances, or no-show fees.
• Maintain reception area and office files.
• Resolve patient issues using problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Attend departmental and clinical meetings as scheduled.
