Job summary

Rockcliff Oral and Facial Surgery in Waynesville, NC is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to join a fast-paced dental practice. You will be the first point of contact for referrals and guide patients through the process from start to finish.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and experience in medical or dental offices. Preferred candidates have healthcare administration education and 2+ years in scheduling, insurance verification, and billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior medical/dental office experience.
• Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information using computer programs incl. MS Office.
• Comfort with learning new software programs and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits outstanding customer service with the patient as a top priority.
• Answers calls, responds to inquiries, or schedules patient appointments.
• Confirms patient appointments and provides pre-visit instructions.
• Coordinates benefits verification or self-pay options for new patients.
• Coordinates referrals and radiography with team and other offices.
