Job summary

Star Valley Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide a seamless entry for patients into our clinics and hospital. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule visits, collect co-pays, and route information to clinical staff, all while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality.

In this role you will collaborate with providers and front-d desk teams to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and a compassionate, patient-centered experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous hospital or clinic experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors to create positive first impressions.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance and collect demographics prior to visits.
• Assist with billing information collection and referrals as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Work with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
