Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, verifies identity and provides information regarding visit.
• Completes check-in and check-out functions.
• Updates patient demographics and insurance information.
• Registers patients as needed and obtains consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-pays and processes payments; posts payments.
• Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable; informs patients of delays.
• Schedules appointments and may float to other clinics/departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
