Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests on arrival and confirms identity.
• Handles check-in and check-out functions.
• Updates patient demographic and insurance information.
• Registers patients as needed and secures consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-payments and other payments; processes billing information.
• Posts payments and closes cash drawer at end of day.
• Maintains a welcoming waiting area and informs about delays or changes.
• Schedules appointments as needed and may float to other clinics.
