Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician for our on-site store location to greet patients, facilitate sales and bridge our clinical services team with retail operations. You will perform pre-tests, assist in the lab, and help ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time while upholding brand standards.

You will report to the Store (Brand) Manager and join a team that values customer service, collaboration, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or current enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability in a team environment.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to multitask under changing business needs.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers and identify their needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule appointments, enter patient history and complete pre-tests and basic exams.
• Assist management with patient concerns and keep stakeholders informed.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and lab area care.
• Edge stock lenses, assemble into frames and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Notify management of equipment malfunctions or order issues and monitor delivery times.
