Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Middleburg Heights facility to guide patients from arrival to departure, handling scheduling, pre-registration, MyChart enrollment and visit preparation with a patient-first mindset. The role supports a seamless patient experience and coordination across departments.

Shifts run 6:45am–3:15pm or 11:30am–8:00pm, with one Saturday per month and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years in patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service
• Associate’s Degree with 1 year experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
• Working knowledge of PC Windows applications
• Ability to perform basic math for processing co-pays

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive patient-first experience for patients and visitors.
• Assist with scheduling, pre-registration, MyChart enrollment and visit preparation.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information and coordinate interpreter services as needed.
