Responsibilities

• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments in accordance with guidelines and use wait lists to fill cancelled slots.
• Answer and triage incoming calls, assist patients and families with problem resolution both in-person and over the phone.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance/managed care related issues, including electronic verification.
• Greet patients and visitors; collect payments and ensure necessary paperwork is complete.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide cross coverage as needed.
