The role emphasizes strong communication, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork. A high school diploma is required, with 1–2 years in a medical setting preferred; Bachelor's degree a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in the EMR prior to scheduling.
• Open charts and maintain patient records for physician reference.
• Facilitate patient flow by greeting, rooming, and scheduling appointments.
• Communicate with physician staff to ensure continuity of care and HIPAA compliance.
