Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in medical scheduling, customer service, or call-based support.
• Excellent computer skills including 10-key and 45+ WPM.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems with attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as the first point of contact by phone with empathy and clarity.
• Listen to patient needs and respond accurately while remaining professional.
• Manage voicemails and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Update patient demographics in EMR accurately and securely.
• Schedule appointments while considering access and clinic efficiency.
• Explain billing information clearly and collect balances owed.
• Escalate complex issues as needed and contribute to team goals.
