Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year medical office experience preferred.
• Multi-specialty office experience preferred.
• Experience in a customer service setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interfaces with patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and other guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Registers patients in the PMIS and verifies demographic and insurance information for accurate claims processing.
• Monitors the reception area and informs patients and staff of schedule changes.
• Maintains a neat and orderly waiting area.
• Answers all incoming calls, triages, and records messages for timely response.
• Processes patient scheduling for appointments, surgeries, procedures and testing as appropriate.
