Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate leader to join our culinary team in a patient-focused environment. You will lead a goal-oriented patient ambassador team to deliver quality service, ensure food, safety, and sanitation for all patients, and drive guest satisfaction.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, conduct daily rounds and education for patients and staff, and collaborate with leadership to meet goals. Serve Safe certification or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and in customer service.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect
• Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, and development
• Perform daily inspections, patient rounding, assessments, coaching, and counsel team members
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient satisfaction and nourishment
• Take action and provide excellent customer service to correct any issues that occur
• Implement, manage, and maintain the patient ambassador program for high-quality service
• Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals
• Stays informed on patient satisfaction updates, current trends
• Participates in departmental meetings and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
• Participates in patient experience workshops and projects led by the organizations
