You will support patients, collect information, and facilitate a smooth visit experience. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, familiarity with medical terminology, insurance practices, EMR systems, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance practices.
• Proficient in Google Suite and practice EMR systems.
• Competency in basic arithmetic; CPT/ICD-10 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Prepare patients for appointments and inform them of required information.
• Provide clear communication to members about scheduled services.
• Proactively communicate delays and assist with patient comfort.
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and organized.
• Obtain insurance cards, licenses, authorizations, referrals, and other documents in the EMR.
• Validate demographics and insurance; explain privacy policies.
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups per policies.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; submit batches daily.
