Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. This role supports data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and revenue cycle performance while collaborating with clinical teams and PES.

You will work closely with PES and clinic staff to resolve insurance and scheduling issues, coordinate patient progress notes, and participate in ongoing training to enhance front-office

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience required
• 1–2 years of healthcare administration preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
• Experience requesting and managing customer payments preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver exceptional front-office experiences
• Complete accurate patient intake/registration ensuring data integrity
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools
• Collect at-service payments and meet collection targets
• Coordinate clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues
• Use EMR dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources timely
• Organize patient milestone events and community activities
• Participate in cross-training to maintain front-office proficiency
• Support rehab aide cross-training on front-office duties
