Job summary

Solis Mammography in Pearland, TX is seeking a friendly Patient Service Representative (PRN) to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet, register, collect payments, and enter demographic and insurance data into our RIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

This role supports the front desk workflow, helps patients understand forms, and assists with scheduling and daily cash handling. Availability to cover PTO during the week and some Saturdays per month is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling experience helpful.
• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions and forms.
• Familiarity with RIS software and Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them, including input of demographics and insurance into RIS.
• Collect payments and explain benefits to patients when needed.
• Explain forms and assist with completion, via paper or tablet.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and maintain front desk organization.
• Generate daily invoices and reconcile payments; ensure confidentiality.
