Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Patient Advocacy Coordinator within the Office of Patient Experience to manage patient complaints and grievances. You will liaise with patients, families, health plans, and clinical leadership, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-up, and clear communication throughout the process.

You will conduct on-site rounds, assist with education on grievance processes, and mentor staff while collaborating with risk, legal, and other departments to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience handling complaints.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison between patients, health plans and leadership to manage complaints.
• Conduct on-site rounds with patients and families to address concerns.
• Document, triage, and follow up on complaints and grievances in databases.
• Provide training and mentoring within the Patient Advocacy Department.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Risk, Legal, Privacy, and Patient Financial Services.
