Qualifications

• Clinical background and knowledge of medical terminology.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical cases, complaints and grievances to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct clinically based concurrent and retrospective chart reviews of inpatient/outpatient records.
• Draft responses to complex grievances with regulatory compliance and multiple perspectives.
• Coordinate with medical management, Patient Relations, and leaders to resolve grievances.
• Update complaint resolutions in the quality improvement database and maintain documentation.
