Job summary

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a front office team member to greet patients and visitors, collect demographic and insurance information, and manage new patient registrations and charts. You will support nursing staff, collect co-pays, and help keep the lobby organized while upholding patient confidentiality and company standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 3+ years in a medical front office role, with a courteous, professional demeanor and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years front office experience preferred, preferably in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors into the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; collects copies of insurance cards and driver's license.
• Registers new patients, prepares charts, and notifies nursing staff of arrivals.
• Collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket amounts; issues receipts when necessary.
• Maintains a neat lobby area and assists with front office functions as requested.
• Protects patient confidentiality and follows the company's Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
