Job summary

One Medical is seeking a dedicated Member Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering a welcoming in-person experience. You will manage scheduling, insurance verification, and billing knowledge while ensuring a clean, on-brand lobby environment across several Mission Valencia, Hayes, Duboce, West Portal, and Inner Sunset offices.

You’ll work in a full-time, in-person role with strong emphasis on communication, empathy, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer technology and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Base pay is $24.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Use CI-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• All front of house duties including check in/out, insurance verification, and related tasks.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles, and ad hoc support.
• Master technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and 1Life EMR.
• Perform opening and closing duties and maintain office spaces.
