Job summary

One Medical in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a Member Support Specialist to serve as the ambassador for patients in office, delivering an exceptional in‑office experience and ensuring the lobby reflects the One Medical brand.

You’ll collaborate with the Practice Coordinator and providers to remove barriers to care, manage patient intake, scheduling, and outreach, while using empathy and strong communication to support patients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience working on cross-functional, feedback-driven teams.
• Ability to adapt and take initiative under pressure.
• Proficient with computer tech and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve patient intake and same-day scheduling with CI-CARE framework.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check-in/out, insurance verification, paperwork.
• Assist with team development through rounds and huddles.
• Master Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and EMR 1Life for daily tasks.
• Open/close duties and maintain lobby spaces.
