Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Member Support Specialist to be an in-office ambassador for patients, coordinating schedules and ensuring a smooth, compassionate experience. You will manage front desk tasks, verify insurance, and support providers with ad hoc requests while using a modern tech stack.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a full-time, in-person position serving Strawberry Village/Mill Valley and San Rafael

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
Proficiency with multiple software systems and general computer use.

Responsibilities

Serve as ambassador for patients in office, ensuring a positive in-office experience.
Handle front of house duties including check in/check out and insurance verification.
Support daily scheduling, follow ups, and outreach as needed by the practice team.
Master the office technology stack (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, EMR) to complete tasks.
Assist with opening/closing duties and maintaining office appearance.
