Job summary

One Medical is hiring a Member Support Specialist to act as the ambassador for patients in office spaces, ensuring a seamless in-person experience and smooth day-to-day operations. You will manage patient intake, scheduling, and communications with care teams.

You will collaborate with the Practice Coordinator and Operations Manager to remove barriers to care, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centric approach across all interactions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse, feedback-driven teams.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and take initiative.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients at the front desk and in-office lobby.
• Process check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and scheduling tasks.
• Assist providers and team with ad-hoc requests and daily operations.
• Utilize Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and EMR 1Life to coordinate care.
• Maintain an orderly, welcoming office environment.
