Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with patients and caregivers to deliver satisfaction.
• Protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous connections with patients by phone, in person, or secure messaging.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data.
• Obtain insurance cards, IDs, and signatures for required forms.
• Assist patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs; educate on financial assistance.
• Process payments following proper procedures and monitor patient accounts.
