Job summary

Optum is seeking a healthcare front desk professional at our Grove City, OH location. You will greet patients, assist with intake, collect payments, and schedule appointments, while maintaining medical records and supporting the primary care team.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in healthcare or customer service. Weekend coverage is not required; the schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:45am–4:30pm EST, with full-time expectations and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in healthcare or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait time.
• Assist patients with intake processes including copying documents.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles and issue receipts.
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits according to policies.
• Process walk-in patients and visitors; answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Maintain medical records and ensure timely filing/scanning.
• Handle requests for medical records and logs.
