Job summary

Select Medical in Grove City, OH is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk operations and the business side of the center. This role focuses on greeting patients, scheduling visits, and handling payments to ensure a smooth patient care experience from check-in to checkout.

The position offers full-time hours with a Monday-Tuesday and midweek evening schedule, and compensation in the $16.00 - $18.00/hour range, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Insurance experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
