Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Elk Grove Village and Elgin clinics. You will be the first contact for patients, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling, copays, and communications, while ensuring accurate demographic and insurance data in EPIC.

The role requires outstanding customer service, strong communication, and basic IT skills. A clinical setting background and familiarity with EPIC are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Receptionist or front desk experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC or similar EMR systems and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in/out, schedule appointments, and answer phones.
• Collect copays, issue receipts, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Update patient demographics and verify insurance in EPIC; respond to emails.
• Schedule follow-ups and referrals; maintain accurate records with care.
• Monitor wait times and communicate delays empathetically; participate in huddles.
