Job summary

Patient First in Maryland is seeking a Front Desk Associate to assist patients at check-in, verify insurance, and manage cash transactions with a focus on compassionate service.

You will operate the kiosk, register patients, answer billing questions, and coordinate with physicians and nurses as needed. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic typing, and clerical experience; flexibility to work at any center as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Register patients accurately with demographic, health, insurance data.
• Explain billing policies and collect payments when needed.
• Answer calls, distribute messages, and maintain front desk area.
